How to use the Magic Mushroom Retrospective: 

1. Set the stage - start the Retrospective by introducing the team to the metaphor of a highly mushroom-powered retro.
2. Reflect and write individually - Give each team member 15-20 minutes to write down stickies on the board in the different areas of the mushroom trip canvas.
3. Present and discuss in pairs - Ask each participant to voice over their thoughts for each section. Allocate 1-2 minutes for each participant and encourage people to speak up. 
4. Summarize - Give a summary of the discussion and an opportunity to ask questions, if any.
5. Group stickies - Invite the team to group stickies with the same topics.
6. Prioritize stickies - The team votes on the topic(s) to focus on and prioritize them. 
7. Plan Actions - The team agrees on improvement action based on the highest voted topic(s) and assigns responsible people for each area.
8. Follow up  - After the Retrospective, share a recap and action items to keep your team members accountable and ensure the tasks are completed ahead of your next Retrospective.
